Alcoholic Compass started as a personal app: a way to pick a drink by looking at where it sits instead of reading an alphabetical list. This site is the same map, opened up.
Recipes and measures come from the official list of the International Bartenders Association. Where a drink is not IBA — the bar standards — the source is named on its own page.
Nothing here is an invented story: you will not find who created what and when, because sources disagree and we would rather say nothing than say it wrong.
